General Information

  • San Marcos River Ranch will host the 2012 Junior Development Clinic and Tournament on July 6 - 8, 2012.
  • You can see the site and information at this link. www.sanmarcosriverranch.com
  • Due to the San Marcos / New Braunfels area being a summer destination, we recommend parents make hotel reservations as soon as possible.
  • All hotels in San Marcos are within 10 miles of the site. You may be able to find better hotel rates in Kyle, TX or New Braunfels, TX. These hotels would be within 20 miles of the ski site.
  • We will NOT have a host hotel, as all hotels have a better rate using the Internet than we can obtain using a reservation block. We have stayed at the Comfort Suites and the Embassy Suites. Both hotels have large rooms and early breakfast.
  • There are many RV camp sites within 5 miles of the ski site.
  • San Marcos River Ranch will be able to host a limited number of RVs, but all would need to be self-contained including power. CLINIC INFORMATION

  • July 6, 2012, San Marcos River Ranch will host the Regional Junior Development Clinic. The host site will run 3 lakes on that day.
  • Each participant will receive lunch, a goodie bag and a T-Shirt.
  • We are limiting participants in this event to 36.
  • Any skier that is listed on the Ranking List at Level 4 or below may register for the clinic using this link to our online registration form.

This registration form will record the first 36 registrations. It will continue to accept registrations past the 36 participant limit, but the participant will be notified that they are on a waiting list. The participant must be pre-registered using this form to attend the clinic. Payment for the clinic event must be received by June 1, 2012, or the participants pre-registration will be deleted and the clinic reservation given to the next participant on the stand-by list.

Payment for the clinic event is $30.00 and must be received by June 1, 2012.
Please make payment payable to SMRR POA. Reference SMRR JD Clinic on the check or money order. If the participant is not a member of USA Water Ski, they must have a $7.00 Guest Membership in order to participate in this sanctioned event.

The Hold Harmless Minor Release will be signed by the legal guardian on July 8, 2012 during event check in.

If necessary, the Guest Membership application will be signed by the legal guardian on July 8, 2012 during event check in.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

  • The SCR JD 2012 Tournament at San Marcos River Ranch will be held on July 7 - 8, 2012. (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Each skier will receive a TShirt, goodie bag, and meals throughout the weekend.
  • We are also sponsoring sportsmanship awards throughout the weekend. Fabulous prizes for these awards have been donated for the tournament.
  • The awards dinner will be onsite at the river on Saturday evening.

BONUS - IF YOU HAVE READ THIS FAR

The FIRST10 PAID Pre-Registered Tournament or Clinic Participant will receive a remote controlled mini helicopter in their goodie bag during registration.
